She is a purebred Japanese Akita. The american standard ones tend to be a little less elegent and much broader. They still are one breed under the akc but they are trying to change it.

Wait thats an Akita? My uncle had one and it turned out to be the biggest dog i had ever seen.

yeah shes a big girl, she was born sept 11 and she weighs just over 50lbs nows.
