as you guys may or may not know, I've gotten into producing a bit of trance over the last year. Only the last month or so have I been making decent stuff, and I am hoping to release some stuff now that I've got some more free time than usual.
I got started on this track yesterday, and just finished up another 2 hours of work. Probably the nicest track I've created, and now I'm looking for feedback
Please be honest, and let me know what you think of this sample. I can take criticism as long as its constructive.
I would post in the production forums, but its hard to get feedback there.

ok I listened to it a couple times...I think it's a very good sample. It has many of the elements that make a good trance track. My advice (just advice get a couple more opinions before you do this maybe), the main riff that comes in at like 6 seconds, I think it should exit at about 54 seconds, and not re-enter till the buildup at around 2:17 again. It get a little repetative how that riff is structed right now.
Still it's better than anything I've produced I've been fooling around with fruity for a couple weeks, I use samples though, which I kinda wanna stop doing, but anyways awseme track! I really like the brakedown & buildup!

okay cool, I'll try some of your ideas.
that crystal/digital riff you are referring to is the latest addition to the track, so I haven't experimented with it a whole lot. I love the way it sounds with the lead synth during the chorus... but not as much during the intro.

the main riff sounds too acidic for the track, i think it should be softer. as it repeats, it dominates your melody a bit. other than that, it's structured pretty well.
