nice track ..
i didnt listen to the original though...

the little melody at 0:44 is realy cool
1:10 .. the new synth is clean, and sounds clean...also cool when you add another layer there at 2:10....

but its too repetitive in my opinon....and looses its effect after a time....

also i'll say the bass is kinda simple, play with it, make it wider or something...

but dont get me wrong, it a cool tune, but you need to vary it, make it more interesting...
