AIRDRAWNDAGGER :: FREEDOM OF MUSIC
Now available exclusively through this website, Sasha and BMG have made every part, of every track off Airdrawndagger available for download to members.

After the runaway success of the Wavy Gravy remix competition, and the slew of similar promotions by others, we decided it was time to push the boundaries even further.

The individual elements, which make up the tracks, are now available for fans and producers alike to create their own remixes and submit them into a contest. The top 20 remixes will be chosen and feature in a members area voting poll.

Sasha said, "Because I understand that downloading is not simply going to go away, I wanted to find a creative way to use the internet to my own advantage. As well as taking a positive stance on the situation, I am hoping it will provide a platform for new, undiscovered talent. I'm also really looking forward to playing some of the mixes out at the Miami Music Conference."

Just type tiesto on WinMX and you'll get tons of replies. Tiesto didn't fight the fact that his music was being downloaded from the web. And as a result, his popularity and fame grew.

this is pretty crazy... would anyone do the same in sasha's place? just proves he does it for the music, and not for the cash.

now, the problem are gonna be the ripoffs people are gonna do with those samples..

Very smart move by the man like. There are a lot of talented people out there who are waiting to be discovered. There have been so many great remixes of Wavy Gravy and I hope the same for all tracks on ADD.

On another slightly related topic, I've always wondered how many albums, sets, and singles that Sasha or any other big DJ has on his/her computer at home? It wouldn't surprise me if some of them have a ton.
