Thumbs down What Happened at PVD 2 nite

I dont if u all had the same experience at the roxy tonight. I stood on line for three hours with tickets and then the police came and kicked everyone out. They came up to me and threatened to arrest my friends and I if we did not disperse. why did the management let people in without tickets before those of us who had tickets already. What a shitty night considering how awesome it could have been. Hope those that made it in had a great time, someone please post a setlist?

Also if anyone knows about refund info that would be helpful too.

Yeah i just got back home with a ticket in my hand too. I waited fucking 3 hours and nothing. Appearantly there were fire marshalls inside and they made the owners shut the place down. What sucks is that so many people drove hours upon hours to get here. But, I hope everyone lucky enough to get in had a great time

This was without a doubt one of the worst clubbin experiences I have had, if u even wanna call it that. I, just like many of u stood in line for hours and didnt get in even though i had a ticket. This shows poor organization, poor management, and FUCKING IDIOTS WORKING FOR ROXY, in reality i think they oversold the party. I honestly doubt that I will be goin back to roxy as will many people, maybe now I will consider driving to washington or to avalon in boston to see djs. This is total fucking bullshit!!!!!

There was a line all the way down the block and probably more and every single one of these people had tickets when they said the place is closed. I wonder if any of those people who stayed and all night got in. What a fucking waste of my time. Fuck Roxy and Made for this mess of a night.

I went at 3ish and was told to go home.
So I went to Arc instead - then I called a friend at 4:30am, who works at Roxy, she tells me that they are letting people in.
There was a small group of people who waited outside in the rain, including partyboynyc, he beat me to my comp tix. So needless to say I never got to see PVD this time. But what is a new yorker to do - when the city keeps on closing clubs?
I feel bad for all the people who drove hours to this chaos.
I'm not proud to live in a city that is going down in history as the destroyer of club life. But every year it's something new with the clubs of NYC.
Too all my PVD family - I hope to see you soon.
Peace, martinigirl

yeah.. it was seriously messed up... i got to the line with my friends at about 12:30... ended up waiting until 4:30 to get in... (i was the half asian guy with the vandit tee... just in case anyone was there too...) it's completly bullshit that they turn away ticket holders and you can't really expect much more from roxy or made events... they don't give a crap about customers... it's all for the money..

i'm sorry you guys all left but the few people who were still there at 4:30 managed to all get in... and what a set it was.. so much energy.. wow.. i'll post a real review after i get some sleep...

i guess i'll post a review since i actually got in.

i totally feel you guys in line and i feel so incredibly bad for you guys. i was debating whether or not to just sell my ticket and leave for a long time, but i finally gutted it out and got in around 3ish. totally wasn't feeling it for awhile, just wandered the club, smoking some stoges, saying hi to a coupla ppl. Saw john first, then ricky and lunasea, then eventually brian (hehe, i hope u remember me now ), tek, liz and some others. sorry, i disappeared after that...was hanging out with some work buddies.

then around 5, i heard ralphie b - massive and that just kicked my ass. so i stayed, and it only got better from there on. except for a short period between 6 and 7 when he slowed it down, played some breaks and wut not.

my pathetic attempt at a tracklist: (in no particular order)

Viframa - Cristalle (Precision mix)
Tillman Urhmacher - On the Run (Oceans to Shore mix?)
Spacefrog - Follow Me (not sure wut mix)
Ralphie B - Massive (original mix i believe)
Circ - Destroy She Said (De Donatis Mix)
Solid Sleep - Club Attack (PvD Mix)<--not sure if i heard this or not
Solar Stone - Solarcoaster
Klea - Tic Toc (Pvd Mix)
*edit* and how could i forget the clocks song!!?! no idea wut remix it is tho...

Encore: (3 songs)
Circ - Destroy She Said (De Donatis Mix)
PvD - Nothing But You
not sure what the 3rd song was

that's all i remember...all in all, a decent nite. not too spectacular, but considering what could've happened, it was a good 40 dollars spent.
