Circ - Destroy She Said <-someone needs to remix this!
this is one of the best vocal tracks i've heard in a while but all the mixes lack something. the original and club mixes lack energy and are a bit slow (130 bpm). the De Donatis remix that Paul Van Dyk is spinning is just too cheesy and epic sounding. i would love to hear him remix it or better yet Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden or the Thrillseekers.

i'm just not a fan of her vocals, i'll admit, i havent truely listened to the track after i heard it @ the PvD show... but when i did hear it there, i was kinda taken aback and just didnt feel the vocals fit...
then again, that is just my take on it

I heard this song 4 times in 2 days, and all I can say is wow! such a beautiful tune. cheesy or not, I don`t care. I really like it! *in love*
as Paul would say, "sometimes, a little bit of cheese is good "
De Donatis mix OWNNZZZZZZZZZZ ME
I love it
top tune for the month
very PVD style sounding in the production
and I dont care if you consider it cheese, it kicks ass
I just downloaded the De Donatis mix and it just blew my mind away!
Thanks for the post.

Everyone can have a little cheese now and then. Anyway , De Donatis remix is "cheese" done right.

i found some interesting info..
CIRC is vocalist Madelin and producer Alexander Perls
The 'Destroy She Said' single is out now on Low Spirit, Berlin, distributed by BMG in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Watch for the upcoming video on VIVA and MTV Europe.
The single was written and produced by Alexander Perls in New York City and mix engineered by Peter Stengaard in Copenhagen. Klaus Jankuhn in Berlin (Westbam, Members of Mayday) and Tommaso De Donatis in Essen (DJ Quicksilver) contributed dance remixes.
Alexander Perls wrote 'Destroy She Said' in the Autumn of 2000 at his apartment on Reade Street in New York City, 400 meters from the World Trade Center. Perls wrote the song after breaking up with his girlfriend the previous night; the lyrics 'towers falling down' in the first verse of the song are a coincidence.

the whole NYC connection is eerie.
i wonder if pvd knew about the origins of this track before he played it in NYC..
also de donatis is quicksilver..why didn't he use that alias?

i heard it 4 times as well! though i must say i wasnt expecting it would happen in ny....he usually stays hard (NOT THAT HE DIDNT BANG US AWAY!!) i love it.... i dont think its cheesy... i just think its extremely happy- at least the vocals. sometimes, that is appropriate cause at Roxy, most people that were in the club were HAPPY!!

pvd has been playing this track at all his gigs last week and on his radioshow too. i dont think its because of new york directly, its probably because of his anti-war message. notice the t-shirts, website, pvd giving the peace sign in the air with both hands while dancing etc etc
