anyone know any good modular synths out there that are soft...i've been reading about analobue synthesis lately and i've decided this is the way to go...i mean you got so much more control. also anyone out there right now that is using modular synthesis and having a lot of success??? i'd love to hear more about your connections and what they've achieved...

The best known software is probably Native Instruments Reaktor which allows you to journey to whatever depth of modularity you desire (and can understand )

Coming soon is Arturia Moog Modular V which may be more what you are thinking of in terms of modular synths. I'm certainly looking forward to trying that one

Another option I know about is VAZ Modular but I never used that so can't comment...

I think VirSyn Tera is another modular.
