not a huge fan of mr. rogers either. i preferred sesame street. mr. rogers scared me sometimes.

it's always sad to see a childhood icon pass away though, reminds us how old we're getting.

WoW!

I used to watch his show so much! I had probably seen like more than half of all the episodes I watched it so damn much.

This is very sad =(.

I thought his show was a bit cheesy but I did grow up watching him. Wasn't he a minister?

My regards to his family.....

Yea, its very sad. I also grew up with him. Sesame Street and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood were my favorite childhood shows...plus Reading Rainbow and Contact. He should have lived for at least a hundred years. I think that all great and good people should live for at least a hundred years; that is unless they wish to die. Then, in that case, there should be euthanasia centers. Yes, I am aware that the practice of euthanasia is to bring relief to those suffering from incurable or painful diseases. But life itself can be, R.D. Laing once said, "a sexually transmitted disease - and the mortality rate is 100 per cent." Anyhow, he made my "disease" ,all of our "diseases",( not that you guys are diseases. On the contrary, if life is a disease then you guys are painkillers and vaccines)more berable, lighter, even fun. If there is such a thing as a Heaven, then I hope he reaches it...as do I think of you guys. Long life to us all...well, everybody but me.
