OMG, 2 Tribes Perth was this weekend just gone and it was brilliant. If only because of the combined talents of JXL and Armin Van Buuren. Mauro Picotto pulled out because of a perforated ear drum. So Armin played the main arena for almost 4 hours and did he work it. I must admit i've been a bit luke warm towards his talents in the past but he more then won me over that night. A great mixture of classics and new stuff and he had the crowd eating out of his hand. The moment of the night for me was when he dropped 'For an Angel' half way thru his set and the place exploded. Unreal At the end of the night he played 'Another Day' for an encore and even jumped onto the dance floor and shook hands with the crowd.

Anyway, one of the local djs told me Armin was more then impressed with the venue and crowd. Man did he have a smile on his face. If you ever read this Armin, you rock and please come back soon.
