On this special night, we proudly present the Innovator of Cybertrance, MYSTRE (Dancing Spirit/Frequency-8/SF) Mystrë, known as a pioneer of the American Cybertrance movement, has helped to introduce the west coast music community to this unique genre of electronic dance music. Playing trance for over 8 years, Mystrë has built an amazing following. Originating in the Bay Area, Frequency-8 initially created an event production company dedicated to the trance movement. These events initially catered to a small community of dedicated fans. Since then, the movement has transformed the Bay Area local scene into the capital of Cybertrance in America. In San Francisco, along side his partner Mars. Internationally, Mars and Mystrë have worked with producers such as Nostrum, Oliver Lieb, Steve Baltes, Nuclear Hyde, and Captain Tinrib. The Frequency 8 retail stores have bra! nched out to Seattle, as well as Los Angeles, magnifying Mystrë?s presence on the West Coast and increasing his visibility on a national scale. Mystrë is considered one of the West Coast's most sought after DJs. Of the seven releases on Frequency 8 Records, Mystrë contributed to F8-001, 3, 4, and 5. F8-7, is Mystrë's first solo project entitled Dancing Spirit / Light of 1000 Angels. This release is already in major demand, in terms of vinyl as well as mechanical licensing rights for other projects. The F-8 releases continued to dominate the radio waves in 2000, with its 5th release, “Eye in the Sky” being in! the top ten most requested songs of the year. Currently, Mystrë's solo release, “Light of 1000 Angels”, has maintained the number one position on Live 105 for almost 20 weeks.
