Unfortunatly the NHL is really fucked financially right now, and SJ was thinking in terms of green not goals.

SJ has one of the most solid fanbases in the league. I think that money is much less a priority for them than for 90% of the other teams in the league.

They're still financially strapped. So is just about every team in the league. I've been to 6 kings games this year, all have been more or less sold out, yet there reportedly close to being in the red.

heh..i'm also an avs fan since joe sakic is the bomb, so it doesn't matter who finish on top of the northwest for me. i just hope forsberg doesn't edge naslund for mvp.

however, i'd prefer see the canucks get it and hopefully st. louis gets no.3 because i wanna see a colorado/detroit first round.
