Anyones computer acting up a little bit?

my conputer has been acting up a bit. It would forget my internet cookies and when i choose to turn off my computer it restarts it instead. My friends computers also started actin up in different ways and some of there computers crashed. This all happened within the last few weeks. Is there a computer virus going around? any of you have the same problem. Maybe its around my area.

sounds a bit suspect, you may want to run ad aware and do a scan for spyware though (although if you use kazza or other programs that rely on spyware it may muck up that program if u delete the spyware)

Do the usual virus checks, and ad ware as jon suggested.

But if that doesnt sort it, and u have had windows installed for a long time it sounds like a reformat and reinstal job

Always good to redo yr system every 6 months, as windows can go mad after about 32 weeks
