you think your curriculum is hard? You're in highschool right? Go to School in Europe boy. Grade 13 here = Grade 9 there. The only reason you guys think its tough is is because they don;t prepare u for it in Middle school. You think this is hard now? Wait till u goet to Unversity or College. you will DIE (altho I hope u don't). Trust me Buddy. It gets worse. |
For once I agree with E*Master. I had to study a little harder since I went to a private school, but for the most part, it really was a breeze.
And forget Europe, try Asian countries like China or Japan. They learn algebra in grade 3, not grade 9. Personally I think the public school system is wrecked because it has no money, but I've got nothing against them raising the academic standards. They've been far too low for far too long. If you think what you're doing is hard now, allow me to show you my 3rd-year elec assignments if you want to shit your pants.
The reason kids in high school are sleep-deprived is because they haven't properly learned the fundamentals. My mom's a teacher and her biggest bitch is the students that can barely even multiply two numbers together. Or worse, students who can barely figure out how to write their name down. It's pathetic and sad. Frankly, for the students of tomorrow, I would be very happy for the academic standards to be raised at an elementary level, so kids are adequately prepared for the now-harder high-school curriculum.

Yeah u are right. The friggin Asian Countries are even worse!! I never studied in Highschool EVER. Not for tests or Exams. I agree they need to raise the academic levels in middle and elementry school. It is just way to easy there.
