I was woundering how many kinds of trance there are exactly. That's what I know about it:

melodic trance
progressive trance
hardtrance
goa
psychedelic trance

any other kinds?

You have the basics there but trance can sometimes and usually is a combination of those two...that's why its always hard to put some tracks into just ONE genre.

acid trance?

there is almost 50 kinds of trance, that i have heard of... i had a list of all kinds of trance, house, and other technostyles, on my old computer... it crashed... search the net for a list, and if yur lucky, youll find it.. its longer than youldd xpect

In my opinion theres no differnence at all between goa and psy-trance. Its both the same. Psy-Trance comes orginally from GOA, GOA is the Mekka for Psy-trancers..anyway..both of them rule

Ishkurs site is pretty good when it comes to the diffrent genres of electronica. Ishkur himslef is the biggest dumbass of all times though.
