Ranking in order of quality of performance
1. Don Diablo
2. Cor Fijneman
3. Misja Hesloot
4. Dj Astrid
5. Johan Gielen
6. ?
Marco V is not even ranked. It wasn't just the sound system or that he spun for 45 minutes, his set was horrible. The only quality song that I heard was ../ *mp3 song* . Clocks is old and the push songs he played are played out. I know that it wasn't all his fault. The club was amazing looking (the key word is looking) The sound was horrid due to the main floor having no walls and being outside. The best place to be in the club was the dancefloor/lounge upstairs. Don and cor were awsome! Ive really never seen a guy with as much energy as Diablo behind the decks. When acceleration peaked he threw his water bottle's in the air and sprayed all of us with it . Misja wouldn't play Baracheta for me !

I'll throw Johan Cyber in there for number 6. Don Diablo just blew me away though. He totally made the trip worth it. I wish I would have been able to see DJ Montana though, anyone see him?

I spoke with bouncers about the sound outside.
he told me it was really really quiet, the reason, they were given 2 $4000 fines earlier in the day for noise violations. So they kept it turned way down. Friday day for the Radio 1 party it was great volume in there.
fave sets
Diablo
sister Bliss
Cor
Johan

Sister Bliss played a great set and totally set the crowd for Johan.
Also, IMO Don Diablo and Cor Fijneman should have been playing on the main floor (with the volume turned up ofcourse).
The sound system on the mainfloor sucked...they should have turned up the volume. The system in the top room was much louder, you could even hear it play over the main system.
Hopefully there will be a Dancevalley party next year...and this time at a better club (Sound wise not considering decor...Opium Garden is a very well-designed club)

coolness
Dance valley was one of my fave nights f the 4 i spent in miami last week.
I loved the way the club was set up... it had a nice feel to it, and everyone there was so relaxed it seemed!
greg and i met some cool people just sitting on the couch right in front of the mainstage.... which is why we thought the sound was so quiet.. it was a little louder on the dancefloor "Tent" behind us, but we preferred to be near the stage. I didnt totally mind the lower volume b/c it allowed me to speak with everyone and i was able to save my hearing for PVD and ULTRA.
we got johan's autograph, and later were lucky enuf to get a pic with him too.. he seems like a really cool guy, not to mention his set was awesome.
We walked in right when lucien foort was finishing up.. i always liked him =)
the visuals on the mainstage were so cool!!! i lioved the maxheadroom type guy who was the "host"
the music in each of the other roms was always cool, the atmosphere was great, lots of bathrooms (yay)
one NOT COOL thing that happened.. we ran into TIESTO and said hi and asked for a pic with him and he was all snooty and said no... of course the minute after was right when we got a pic with johan... i heard from someone later that he cant take pics with people b/c of his contract.. but still it was rude... poo on tiesto.... he doesnt spin what he is famous for anymore....too hard.. although his set at ultra was the best ive ever seen him.. that was the 4th time i had seen him and all the others were disappointments.... sorry to rant.. that should be another thread
ANYWAYS..... dance valley was oodles of fun, and i cant wait for another one
peesh

lol i saw u there =). i remember that toy spinning in the air spelling words and stuff. i think i was one of the only asian people in that miami. i swear miami doesn't have a big asian community or something. but anyways sister bliss and johan were amazing. it was an awesome night. the free visors were cool as well.
