I noticed I can't mix worth shit. That is unless I have a little caffeine in my system. After I take in a red bull or two, I seemingly don't f-up at all. Others have seen me on caffeine and w/out, and they agree. Does anyone else suffer from this affliction?

Well I always mix better when I have something to take the edge off (weed, a couple beers, other ). Caffeine doesn't really do much for me anyway since I'm kind of addicted to it and have to have it everyday to prevent headaches. But anyway, I hear what you're saying man.

anyhow I beleive my mixing is at a very good level right now without any oher factors involved but I think I'll try the red bull/beer thing and I'll let you know

Beer usually does not improve my mixing skills... Even worse, it makes it sound even worse than without the beers

i kinda like that with the red bulls but to many and am shaking like im having a convusion

how can someone mix stoned =\....i had a cable fall out of my mixer the other night and i was djing realy stoned i could barely find out what was wrong with the mixer =\ getting stoned just makes me stupid....I cant mix, i cant function.....i cant think...i dont see how people do sooo much.

Mixing stoned is freaking impossible. My friend made a tape of himself spinning smacked out of his mind. Let it be known that the entire tape sounded like a double bass pedal for a drum kit.

Hmm anyone heard of Jolt? its like 2 red bulls into one... ahh nice.... but makes yuo hypo ... i suggest sleep and visual aids.. go outside for a while... let the music be a part of you.. not to let it control you... your a DJ.. YOU CONTROL THE MUSIC!

if possible i always try and spin with a red bull in hand. i dont know if it makes my mixes better but it definitely gets me going and i get all hyped up and dance like a little fool in the booth.

I can mix fine high, but not when I am stoned. I just listen to the beats after putting a new record down and I think, "wow, there are like two beats and they arn't matching... um... what happens if I do this? Ohh jeez that made it worse... um how about this... no, damn... ug. I'll just listen to that PvD liveset"

Never drink and mix at the same time, the alcohol makes a big muscle in your ear relax wich normally holds about 20 db out of the ear.
