Exclamation I MET SCOT PROJECT Last Night!!!!!!!!!

Last night was his first NYC appearance at a rave at the Tunnel w/Kay Cee, Keoki & others. At 3:45 He was at the bar talking to Johnny Vicious. I went over, re-introduced myself to Johnny (I met him at his M.O.S release party at Factory) & told Scot that he's awesome. I got interrupted...they both went into the booth. Scot blew the roof off! Scot Project= HARD! It was a bass head's wet dream.

He played:
his remix of Derb- Derb
Overdrive
Modem
Schwarze Puppen- Schwarze Puppen
Joy Kitikonti- Joy Energizer
his new remix of Incoming- Sick! (I thought it was cheesy When I listened to it at Satellite) the place exploded!
Mauro Picotto- Bug
Radium- feat. DJ Inside - Universe of Dreams SICK! "We are gonna start here w/a kick & bass". SICK!
I think Mass Effect- Alphascan (Arome remix)
##He closed w/Hypetraxx- Paranoid...will be released on Mon July 16th.##

I haven't danced like that since Picotto came to Twilo 12/15/00. He had a great connection w/the crowd. He was jumping up & down, smiling, waiving his hands. He was really into it. My only complaint was all the break downs... I guess he did that so we can catch our breath. His set was an hour & half. I don't think I could survive a 6 hour set. I was totally dead ass sober...what a friggin work out! After he finished his last record, I went over to the booth & told him "U DESTROYED US! U RULE!" & then we left, my feet were killing me!

*****HE'S COMING BACK AUG 17TH TO LIMELIGHT!******

Awesome
I don't like Scot Project for his mixing skills, but if you meet him again tell him his tracks are not far from PERFECT.

Hello!

Wassup Twilo..

I was there too! He f**king blew the roof off!!!
I was waiting all night for him to spin, and when he did..he did not dissapoint! When he played Overdrive..the place went nuts!!! I was in front of the booth with a whole bunch of people and he had great interaction with the crowd... he was jumping up and down..raising his hands...
at one point..a whole bunch of us reached our hands into the booth and he shook all of our hands!!! He's an awesome as a DJ and as a person.
I was disspointed it was only 1 1/2 hrs though Hopefully at Limelight he'll play a longer set.

btw..Tunnel sux, crappy ass sound system

Where were you dancing at TwiloGoddess during his set?

Yea I saw a bunch of guys with their arms in the air in front of the booth while he was spinning. I was thinking "leave him alone, he's spinning!" Scot was prolly thinking where are all the chicks? I was dancing to the left of the cage. I was wearing a blue spiked collar, blue tank top, blue pants, pony tail.

Yea..some of the guys kept reaching their hands into the booth..I only did it once when he actually shook our hands

btw.. I was wearing a black tank top and black pants..I was probably the only Asian guy up there by the booth

Kaycee was good...not impressive. Played old tunes: Born Slippy, Das Glockenspiel, Escape. No Millenium Strings. I've concluded that u don't hear upfront new tunes at raves. The DJs just play anthems & tunes everyone knows to get them dancing. I'm a muzik snob I'd like to hear fresh shit rather than 3 old tunes that are played out.

Post ur review..I wanna see if Scot plays the same tracks.

i tend to disagree... it all depends on the dj... when i saw pvd at space in philly last year it was an all raver crowd, and i remember that he spun at last 2 new tunes... and then when i saw dj tiesto in april he spun urban train... definitely not the cutting edge that your used to with sasha and digweed... but it all depends on who your seeing

anyways... i will post my review of the show tomorrow

PVD & Tiesto don't spin at raves. Raver crowd doesn't make it a rave. Raves have tons of DJ's...they only spin for an hour, hour & half.
