ever since, i have been using SHARPIE as the preferred brand on writing on cdrs. i know out there you can buy cheap markers meant especially for cdrs. i might just do that soon. but all i know is that writing with a sharp pen, marker, colored marker, and pencil is a definate no no obviously. also no oil based markers. i don't know if SHARPIE is oil based. why is oil based dangerous for cdrs?? will it bleed through the top and to the date bottom side? what do you guys use and think?

most felt tipped pens work. As long as the tips are soft and they wont scratch up the cd.
I used a inky pen once, but the tip was kinda hard, and it the indent left by my writing was so hard that it went onto the other side..u can even see the scratches when you flip over the cd hehe. Bye bye tiesto@gatecrasher
