The same hate?
Yes, this is another thread on the Israel-Arab conflict!
I want to talk about the hate that lies within Arabs against Jews, and vice versa.
I feel that there is a huge difference between what is happening with Israelis and the Arab Palestinians. The hatred and violence of the Arab Palestinians against the Israelis is sanctioned by their rulers, by their educational system, by their religious system and their media. This is NOT true of Israel.
Israel doesn't teach kids in school to hate. We don’t have commercials that portray Arabs as a "lesser" people; too bad I can't say the same for the Arabs.
None of this assumes that Jews never hate or never get violent. In every nation there are fanatics. In every nation there are mentally unstable individuals. Fanaticism, hatred, and violence are not officially sanctioned, however, by Israel's institutions. Israel and Judaism promote ways of peace.
It must also be stressed that there is a huge difference between reacting in self defence and between trying to exterminate a nation.
It is the responsibility of the Arab Palestinian institutions to teach tolerance, not hate so those young minds are not poisoned with such vicious violence. When this essential step is made, than our children will be sure to grow up and live in peace with their neighbours.
That’s my take on this matter.
Anyone care to voice their opinion, this is after all a place where opinions flow freely; unlike those places ruled by regimes like Iraq or the Palestinian Authority!

they send you for a 10 days trip for free , you stay in a nice place , get to meet nice people , go to eilat , etc ... but once you come back home you have "to propagate the good words" hehehehe

I heard about that trip, lots of my friends are going, some of which aren't Jewish.. they just look at it as interesting. Im in some way curious about that.. I don't know if that's the walk of rebirth or something. I have to friends that are going to Israel or Poland to do that rebirth thing. I know that they are doing that because they think that the Jewish religion is dieing and that's a way to teach all the teenage to not loose it, and learn. Nice though.

Melech ... you really need to stop generalizing. From now on, don't say Arab, say Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, etc. Be very specific as to who you're talking about. It only hurts your cause to say "arabs are so and so" much like it hurts the cause of anybody who says "jews are so and so". If other people started applying their arguments to "jewish israelis" one could start to get the idea that jewish israelis are bad whereas arab israelies are ok. You did say Arab as opposed to muslim but do you get what I'm trying to say?
At any rate Melech does present a valid argument ... would anybody like to comment on the Palestinian education system or point out how the Israeli education system is just as bed? You can call melech a racist all you want but that still doesn't answer the question.
