Anyone had a chance to use a pair of the new NuMark TTx1 decks? I'm really considering picking these up, but I'd really like to know how they stand up compared to 1200's, especially because they cost about $150-$200 less than technics.

at any rate I know they'll be better than my gemini xl-500 2's

Well I'm about to buy a new deck these days too, so I've done some research and I've finally decided to go for the PTD-6000. Appearantly the TTX1 still has a lot of troubles with minor flaws, and I even read a review stating that there is a big problem with the insolation and with the armsystem. An trustable online-store also did a devastating revieuw of the TTX1 even so bad that they demanded that the review disappeared of the site, so the owner also removed the option to order the TTX1 from there. The PTD-6000 on the other hand is considered a technics with alot of extra features, the only thing that isn't really known about the ptd-6000 is the durability, but as it appears to be build correctly en solid. I'll tale the risk.

And don't forget the SLIGHT difference in price

well....the numarks and the gemini's have more torque than the technics. They're basically all the same, the numarks and the technics cost the same, I'm not sure about the gemini though. I've had my ttx1's since they were released and I've never experienced any problems, neither have my friends and/or ppl i know. So, I recommend you go to guitar center and play with all 3 of them yourself to see what you like.
