Aural Eclipse - Don't Lose Your Bottle (Deprivation Remix)
Right heres a new production by myself and the first one i've done that im almost happy with. Luke & I combined to create the melody but the rest is all my work. All comments are welcome, tho i would appriciate some criticism so i can know where im goin wrong.

Very nice work overall.
I got a bit frustrated at the start though, I kept wanting some sort of bass line or bass pattern to kick in earlier.. Good work though

thanx for the feedback so far people. Taken it into account and just shortened the intro by 4 bars and move the bass down an octave and made it slightly louder.
Will have to work on sorting the percussion when i get time.
im' not really too fond of it as it is now i'm afraid... it sounds very strange without a decent bassline. i don' think you should lower it one octave though, just crank up its volume or compression.
the high pitched sounds need more interest, i'd lower them an octave instead. they sound very squeeky with that detuning on it... no my taste sorry
keep working on it i'd say, it's got some nice melodies in it
take care,
LW

i havent lowered it all one octave, just one part of it and have turned up another part of it. when you the high pitched sounds i guess you mean the highest melody that kicks back in after the break, if so then i've tried taking that down an octave and it sounds much worse and has no real effect. Which is why it is as high as it is. instead of bring it down, i've turn down the treble on it a little to stop the squeaky sound of it.
I like this! It could potentially be better if you gave it some more progression, if you know what I mean - it dragged a bit in some places, but that could easily be fixed if you brought in extra percussion, shortened some bits and added some subtle pads. I'm going to oppose the majority and say the bass is actually OK, though perhaps you could try adding a second bassline to support it and build up a thicker texture.
These are just some suggestions that probably don't make sense...but you asked

I like it overall.
Like the others have said...it lacks a good bassline, the track over all is a bit 'inkyplinkyplonky' lol its not particularly flowing.
The main synths are great! you ahve some really nice sounds there.
Its not your regular trance track which is what I like about it most, the melody is really nice and jolly.
I think its brilliant as a 1st version but truley I think theres quite a bit to be done on the track.
