PLastic slipamts

I want to know what sort of plastic i should use to lighten the friction when cueing? Is the vinyl plastic-covers good enough? I was thinking to place it under the velvet-slipmats i am using. Damn records are glueing themselves when pushing them.

Ever simply tried something like grease paper that you would use in the kitchen? Just get some of that, pop a hole in the middle and stick it under the slip mats.

There are actually proper slipmats that go under your normal mats in shops. They're called Butter Mats or something like that and are basically the same as grease paper.... Scratch DJ's etc use them a lot.

I don't know when you got your tables, or if you ever got them new, but they should have come with a plastic slipmat like looking piece, put that under your slipmats, that should do wonders, if not, yea cut out a piece of wax paper and that will work just fine.

I would use the wax paper method regardless, it can only make things better for you.
