INSANE NIGHT Pvd@club Ra Las Vegas
What can i say.... when i thought trance was long over and nothing was to be done, Paul comes to vegas and proves me wrong. I seen paul 10+ times in my past and i must say this blow them all away. The Club promoters and workers never seen Ra this Insane in the whole history of the damn club.Anyone knows Club Ra knows that its probably vegas best club right at this moment. I walked in Duane King was still spinning ..the lighting was intense. Duane played till 1 ... paul walks in the booth plays erupts to chaos some of the tracks he played
Paul van dyk - Nothing but you (Vandit Club mix)
4Strings - Let it rain (dub)
Paul van dyk vs Second sun - Velvet horn
Nu Nrg - butterfly
Paul Van dyk - Another way
Paul van dyk - For an angel (unknwon rmx)
Paul van dyk - FOr an angel (E works rmx0
Coldplay - CLocks (dub)
Hydra - Affinity
Circ - Destroy she said (De Donatis rmx)
Paul van dyk - something stars i dunno couldnt read the cdr correctly said stars though
There was another track that was INSANE had this guitar riff kinda like solar stone - seven cities with another way but never heard it before.
and many more wish i could say what they were wow insane night!!
These next pictures were earlier in the day at the virgin record store... paul signed autographs and spun for a few hours for free was amazing to see paul twice a day wow

"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge

I was there, but had no idea he was going to be at Virgin, otherwise we would've left a lot earlier!!!
He also played...
Kyau vs. Albert - Velvet Morning (Mirco De Govia Remix)
Nu Nrg - Supersonic
Nu Nrg - Take Your Air
Planet Funk - Who Said (Dunno which remix)
Michele Nicol - Time (It's the Coldplay dub)
PvD - Home
A lot of the songs he played in San Diego, he also played in Vegas. It looks like the same tracklisting as in the post from his Seattle gig.
One of the biggest things I hated about Ra was the small ass dance floor. It's like the size of a small outdoor patio. They crammed what seemed like 500 people into a small dance area the size of a regular living room. Another thing was the speakers sucked ass...the DJ before Paul cranked up the bass so much it distorted and made him sound like crap. PvD had to mess with the eq to make his music sound a bit clearer, but it still was nothing compared to the speakers at 4th and B in San Diego.
And btw, there are many better clubs in Vegas besides Ra . For example...Club Rain in Palms and even Studio54 in MGM.

rain is weak!! ... i didnt have a problem with ra sound system sounded good to me ....studio54 SUCKS DONKEY DICK .... non of them play good music smaller venues are better then large massive clubs imo the reason because its more up close and person with the dj ...just overall better vibe...i thought it rocked
