I've just had it with all the "stop the war" protesters!

When is it going to end? :/

Here's some quotes from ppl protesting today:

Lemme tell ya abit about Kurt.
Kurt has been yelling about this war for months now, he just figured out that he was wrong about it but he hasn't got the guts to tell everyone that he was wrong. So that why he added "but not the way it was done" to his sentance.

wells, i'm not trying to defend these protesters or anything since I agree that sometimes some of the stuff they do is crazy and convoluted. but ur not in Iraq either , so how would you know ?

Freedom includes the right to hold contradictory beliefs, as the vast majority of these protesters do.

Group protesting is, IMO, the lowest form of argumentation. It upholds all the most fallacious instincts of reason: ad populum, glittering generality, argument by slogan, etc. It is a manifestation of mob mentality.

I don't have a problem with it, but I would not expect to find rational arguments being presented in such a format.

If reform can only be advocated by fallacy, then we ought to conclude that the reform ought not to happen. Is there something wrong with asking people to present their position intelligently?

Robstar, with the US claiming now that many scientists fled to Siria as well Saddam as a presumption, I don't second guess that the US would dare to invade Siria as well.

Do you really want to be quoting the Art of War, when the US is supposedly playing peace maker? As an adamant protester, I disagree with how this war is being handled as well, but not its intentions. Saddam is a bad man, a very bad man. This is not being contested. He kills children, women, and just about everything else that can move. [obvious sarcasm] What a great idea! For every American soldier that dies, gas prices go down 1/10th of a cent! Now gassing up my SUV will cost less!! Yay, let's bomb those terrorists back to the stone age!! And to hell with the Iraqi citizens, they're just stupid assholes who get in the way!![/obvious sarcasm]
