theyre the silver ones, right?
only used them once before i ended up playing vynil all night cos i got so f*cked off with them. i couldnt work out how the hell to cue them up properly etc. cos i was so used to my dodgy citronic dual cd
i'd assume that theyre pretty good. the only dj that i know of that plays purely cd's uses the 100's and most clubs that have cd players use 100's. dont ask us - go try yourself... most shops are more than happy for you to bring your own shit along and try out their stuff. it gives a good chance to compare to other cd players that, for all you know, could be half the price with the same features.

If you're looking for cd decks for bedroom use (umm ... yeah that sounded dirty) you should check out the Gemini CDJ-20, I've heard some really good reviews about it (despite it being a gemini 'n all).

Pioneer CDJ-100 is a decent unit as far as CD players go. The only drawback is that its jog-wheel doesn't allow frame-accurate searching since it is divided in about 40 increments, instead of 75 - one for each frame on the CD.

Generally, mixing CDs takes a little getting used to if you're a vinyl DJ - involves a lot more pitchbending with the pitch slider.

well, hope this helps ...

peace

I had the pioneer cdj 500mk2..then bought the cdj 100s'.. i think they're just as good as the pioneer pro players except it doesn't have the loop function.. it does have some useful effects like emulation of a turntable switched off and some others.. and they are small and compact which makes them easy to carry round..
