I want to change the speed of a vocal i have to fit in with the speed of my current production, but im confused how to do it... can i do it in reason or do i have to go through the process of changing the pitch in a wav editor till it fits?

You can change the pitch of a sample in redrum. But if you change the speed, you will also change the pitch of the sound, so you need to find something that will keep the pitch the same, unless your going for that hard house sound

The 'Time strecth' effect in Soundforge is pretty good for changing the speed while maintaining the pitch of vocals.
