im getting a killer deal for them

2 of those plus a mixer for 300 cdn

r they good or not? good torque?precise pitch?

i know that they are direct drive so that's a positive but i heard that Gemini's dont have a good reputation for their tables but i could be wrong.

well if you are a starter it will do ... i have them 2 no problem but lately i also turn on technics just a bit different feeling but i think that normal if you switch between deks

well, monetarily, that is a killer deal. I don't think these are very good tables at all, but they go brand new for $179US so that's a substantial savings.

then again, that is the http GEMINI XL500-2 which has pitch bend added. why you'd need pitch bend on a turntable i'll never know..

what kind of mixer do they come with?

and more importantly, does it all work? make sure you test it all out first.

Ya, there pretty good TT's to start off with... Played them, a little weak motor, but I think that's normal for a TT that only costs 179$... good choice if you ask me.
