But it's also good to remind people of it, or for the newer people too, who weren't around when it was new. Old or not, its still great music.

Definitely old, but also an incredible set - for me this is one of those "timeless" mixes, kinda like Oakenfold's Goa mix on Radio1's Essential Mix back in 94, or FSOL's essential mix back in 93, or Moby's mix in 94 (Crazzzzzy turntablism going on there, it's fuckin incredible )or even BT's 97 mix. As time goes on the tracks will grow old but the mixes will never fail to amaze me as much as they did the first time I heard them.

Great album. Classic.
However, I have an issue with it. Maybe its just me, but do they not sound almost identical but different order of tracks: ISOS, Majik Six, and Summerbreeze?

yeah the thing is that Summerbreeze was a compilation catered for Americans. It was meant to be Tiesto's breakthrough in the American dance market, a good move that was also aided by the inclusion of Silence in the mix. You can tell Tiesto was doing a mix for a less sophisticated audience because pretty much all of the tracks he played were already tried and tested before in other compilations, and are all pretty much huge anthems.
Magik 6 and ISOS1 were meant for Dutch and British markets respectively. These two of course were much more groundbreaking when they were released and Tiesto tried many new things with them.
Summerbreeze is alright, but is nevertheless inferior when compared to its very similar predecessors. For that reason, this is the Tiesto cd i listen to the least.

This is probably my favourite tiesto album ever. It was also the first tiesto album i ever heard, so it holds a special place in my heart .
i would say this would only just be squeezed out in 'favouriteness' by magik6.

Lets look at what makes this album so great:
1. Great intro: "Dido". great calming 1.5 minutes in the beginning. i love the astronauts voice-over as well. then the trance groovin' starts up and doesn't let down the rest of the first track.
2. "dreaming". a great mix. awesome mid-track climax around [2:14]. couldn't be in a more perfect spot.
3. "Going up" and "Light over me" are two more great tracks. just makes you want to stand up higher than everyone else in the club and go nuts.
4. "Dark Blue" has some great sounds.
5. "Sparkles". and i thought the original mix was good! Holy Cow! [Transa] kicked ass on this one. Possibly one of the best tracks on the CD.
6. and a great conclusion w/ "Wonder?" almost sums up what the whole album has sounded like all in the last 6 minutes.
what a great choice of tracks.

First- I am not sure what label it was released on. I forget. So it could very well be Nettwerk like someone said.
Anyway, In "Dido" , the piece played in the intro, I KNOW its some famous work. I CANT remember what it is though. Does anyone know the name of it?

Well, it's very old.
But also one of the best Tiesto-CD's.
Why does everyone think that? Sure it's great but I'd put Magik 4-7 and the ISOS series ahead of it, not to mention Live At Innercity 1999!
I guess I don't like how he reused so many damn tracks that were on other albums I had heard first....like Going Up, Far From Over, Dreaming, No More Tears, Gothic Dream, Silence and Sparkles. By the time I bought it, I had heard those tracks dozens of times.
