normally it's a big name dj and you don't find out who it is until you actually get inside
i have no clue why they let people know before-hand this time... meh
so people line up hours in advance to see a "big dj" in a small intimate club
B&H gets a load of advertising and a very nice tax writeoff while we get a free party
the only way you can get in is to be one of the first 200 people in line (although the past ones they've let in way more than that) or know someone with VIP passes
what most ppl dont get is what B&H is doing.
the point of this is marketing. Its all marketing. the BDJ/SC events are supposed to be 'thanks' to all the 'faithfull' customers theyve had @ their events.
That doenst happen, we all go to all of them. I was @ skybar tonight, B&H says 350 will be in the door, 100 GL(and im one of em!) and 250 free.(well its all free)
350 is low. There will likely be between 450 and 500. So..dress nice(upscale casual should be enuf, but lose the sneakers) and get there early
and no I cant get any of you on the list. sorry.
