ok i got my first decks today and id like to know how i should adjust the weigth in the back and the anti skate and blablabla
i have gemini xl-500 2s
and yeah the strob indicator: when the dots dont move i means it at 33 1/3 rpm?
if so then my decks arents precise bcuz i have to higher the picth than zero for them not to move

The counterweight:

With the needle on the arm, you will turn the counterweight till the arm balances in the air. so, it actually flies without you touching it. Now, you turn the little plate with numbers to 0. then you turn the counterweight + the black plate that way so the numbers show the needle pressure(usually 2 grams) (You turn the counterweight in the direction of the arm). The anti skipping should also be at the needle pressure: 2

hmm ... you could do fine tuning but i have my weight much more then i realy need because some of my records the needle jumps uit of it's track .... if you check in most clubs you see that the have a much more weight at the front then realy fine tuned
