Rise 2 was cancelled this past weekend because the Sherrif's advisor decided that raves are places to buy drugs, participate in gang activity and wet t-shirt contests, which apparently have just recently been outlawed??? FUCKING WET TSHIRT CONTESTS!?!?
If anyone here would kindly be able to get me the Sherrif's Advisor's email address, I'll let him know when to shut down frat parties and LaVela/Spinnaker parties for these apparent "RAVES"
I really really hate stupid people.

Didn't y'all hear about the Anti-Rave Act? It was tacked on to some other bogus bill. We seriously need to do something about these politians. They are afraid because they don't understand.
Noone is going to do anything about this for us. We have to do it ourselves. Now, I'm not exactly sure what we can do right now, but we can all contact our Represenatives and Senators and say that we will not support them if they keep passing bills that violate our rights. We could even send a mass letter and email. A visit might even be in order. I don't know if I'm the best person to rally this kind of thing, but I'm sure that there is someone out there.

I don't know that they cited the RAVE law for this. The police just decided the day before the event that wet t-shirt contests shouldn't happen and therefore Rise shouldn't happen. No one indicated anything about the RAVE act, however events will be closed in the future because of this corrupt law.

Taking away a man's wet t-shirt contests is similar to taking his beer! Its just not done!
America has never been the land of the free. Home of the brave, yeah, but free? lol
