Peter Hook was the leader of the group and they made songs and lately they have been remixed to big success.

ok i still dont get it. Confusion is all techno track. How the hell they made it?

Yeah, New Order is/was hardcore 80's. They did the original smash hit "Blue Monday" which was remade a couple years back by Orgy. I also have New Order - Crystal (Bedrock Remix) on vinyl, sick sick tune...

My favorite original tune of theirs is Bizarre Love Triangle. Has anyone ever done a remix of that? I'd be surpised if they haven't, it's got a sweet uplifting melody.

New Order was 80's synthpop...kinda in the same category with Depeche Mode
the mix of Confusion is the Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix...a lot of prog producers remix their stuff too

So if Confusion got big techno tune thanks to a remix then what does the original sound like?

I heard the Crystal [Lee Coombs Mix] before i heard the original. I liked the remix and so i went and got the original....man what a difference. i think i'll stick to the remix

You might have been under the impression that they are electronic music producers be cause of all their different remixes and stuff..

So much about them. I was really happy i found some new techno music to listen to, but i guess the fucking rock is just too big of a genre. Everybody are after it.
Who ever did the remix of Confusion and made the track that is today deserve an award or something. Its that great it should be the best techno track.
