I'm looking for a new mixer. I can't choose between the Dateq XTC and the Pioner DJM-500.

What's your advise ?? and why ??

I would go for the pioneer because it's one of the industry standard mixers.............. and it would be better to play in a club that has equipment you know how to handle..........

Dateq is only available in holland and most big events like Trance energy uses the big dateq. I would rather gp for the dateq than the pioneer.

Isn't Dateq mixers made for people mixing trance/techno/house?

Basically, the effects processor on it. And the recording dealy it has. I have the 600 and I mostly bought it over the 500 mainly just to have the 600. I think there is more inputs/outputs in the back as well???? But I love it, and never regretted it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

everything is same on 500/600 except i think the 600 has a few more effects and it also has a sampler... The reason i got the 600 is for the EQ the eqs also on the 600 are better if i remember correctly the 600 is -26/+12 where ass the 500 is -20/+12 dont quote me on this though as im not sure

The Dateq XTC looks really old, like it was designed in the eighties. lol, get the djm-500.
