Alright, so what do you guys imagine when listening to this track... there must've been a vision in G&D's mind when producing this... which rush are they talking about? Is it subjective? Is it left up to the listener as to which "rush" Jes sings about?
If so, which is your "rush"?
I imagine the climax of this song being that "rush." As if the singer is preparing you for the wave of emotion that the climax brings, asking you to hold steady and fully feel the rush. The 2nd meaning I can't help but to think about is sex. Embrace me... surround me... as the rush comes.

It's not about drugs and I don't think it's about the "rush" of love either. Given that she's saying "embrace me, surround me," there's a sort of 'love' already there. The 'rush' is something external.
The whole track seems a bit depressing, as if Jes is asking her close friend or lover to help her endure this inevitable, all-encompassing doom or destruction. I think of it as any sort of dramatic, sweeping event that has brought someone to rock bottom.
