Hey!

When i download tunes i usually get 7.6k max!
But when someone uploads a tune of me my download rate goes down to below 1k, usually 674 bytes etc..

This is really annoying and means i have to cancel uploads, any1 know why this happens?

its to late to explain why it does this, but if you get dc++ from http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net. dc++ has a option in it ( you may have to check all the options but its easy enough to figure out) that sends smaller data packets when uploading, which should solve the slow download when uploading problem.

or u could ask ur isp to put a cap on ur line to reduce upload speeds

i think theres several programs that do that out there on the net

it restricts how much data is comin in and going out...
