Traktor vs. Final Scratch

I am using Traktor Studio for virtual mixing.
My question is, can you use Final Scratch for mp3 mixing only?
Do I need entire kit or I can use software only?
I know that FS 1.1 is powered with Traktor FS.
Basically I want to see if the Final Scratch software has more features for mp3 mixing then Traktor.

Traktor FS 1.1 uses Traktor Basic, which has much less features then Traktor DJ Studio 2. I heard that you can mix on Traktor FS 1.1 without turntables, but it has just been released and only few people have it.

abnorm is absolutly right. It runs a stripped down version of Traktor. The whole point of FS is for the hardware interface so if you don't nee/want/use that then you should defninitly stick to Traktor 2. God, I can't wait to get Final Scratch.... mmmmmm it is gonna rock my world
