being mucking around trying to mix dnb into trance sort of like transitioning into a different sound.

need some help to know if you can actually make it sound good.

ive being getting 45spin dnb records and beatmatching them into the trance at 35 spin... this sounds pretty good sort of like a funny slurred effect (but sounds really bad when vocals come in).

the problem is when i try and kick in the dnb full on i cant find a way to make it sound good. ive tried back spinning both records at the same time and while the dnb track is backspinning i change it over to 45 but it sounds like shit cause it kicks back in at any random place that the backspin stops.

so i did the same but only backspinned the trance track..but still doesnt soundn to good anyone know of any neat little ways to make it sound good? if i practise my backspins learning where they sound good and everything would it come off better?

i'd say try it with a d'n'b track that has a hi-hat/bassline breakdown

lots of d'n'b tracks break down like that...so right when its going to go to this, hit 45

or you could also try cutting to the trance track and press the stop button, and then slamming it back t othe d'n'b track and hitting 45 JUST before you bring it back over so its in timing... dunno how it would sound though

its all about being creative with it
