If you want to save money, you should try for used equipment. If you go for used equipment, the cheapest places are online, especially at eBay (or at some really cheap store). If you keep looking long enough over eBay you'll find really great deals.
I didn't expect to win my pair of new Techncis 1200 M3D's for only $720! ($765 with shipping)

BEWARE, Items bought on Ebay are NOT WARRANTED by manufacturers, plus tons of items on Ebay are fakes, eventhough you'll be swearing that the items are real. I work in a ProAudio shop and have come across many complaints 'cause we wouldn't take items for warranty works. PM me if you have ?s on equipment and/or prices, I'll give you best possible prices.

600 bucks for 2 tech 12s? WoW great deal. I thought i was getting a real deal for 2 new ttx1's for 680, I still think I am anyway. But what you got is real impressive. Any tips? Or just luck of the draw?

You run a risk whenever you make purchases online, especially ebay. However, if I was going to drop $1000 on a new setup, I'd want to make sure the seller had an excellent feedback history first. Whether or not the individual can be reached by phone or not, email, etc. I have bought most of my DJ gear on ebay brand new and everything so far has been amazing. Just make sure you research before you bid.
