The Orb joins the Broadcast to throw down a sunrise set! Lead by Alex Paterson the Orb has been crteating it's original brand of electroinc music since it's inception in 1988. Alex Paterson and partner Jimmy Cauterhave spent the last 15 years creating music that appeals to everyone from clubbers to ravers to indie rock fans. They first gained attention with their hit in 1989 aptly titled "The Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld." Their most notable hit came in 1991 with the vocals of Ricky Lee Jones in their massive hit "Little Fluffy Clouds." Since then The Orb has also made a name for themselves as remixers for artists such as Primial Scream, Depeche Mode, Erasure and Front 242.
