Layo and Bushwacka - Love Story; LYRICS?

This track is lush, but what's he saying?

I hear something akin to "Rise on up...Riiiise on up.... all people trying...now just rise on up..?"

cheers

Ilina

i believe it's a female voice.

and i think she's saying "man alive".

if you like this track, you'll like the whole "night works" lp. go out and buy it. you won't be disappointed. the CD has all the tracks mixed together, whereas the 2x12 vinyl has them separate for DJs.

yeah i've got both these tracks already, v. nice, esp Deep South.

They're not even vocals, they're really annoying actually. But I keep listening to the Holden liveset, and that whiny man comes on, and now it's bothering me. What's he saying??

and hope your case of herpes is improving, btw
