Sasha - Revival ---REVIEW
all I have to say is holy fucking unbelievable. This was one of the best if not the best party I've ever been too. Started off the night mixing up venues, yes silly me. For some unknown reason I thought it was Rivoli, not Revival. Yes all these venues that start with R mixing me up. Anyway noticed that there was no line and got suspicious. Went to an internet cafe to find out the venue and realized that it was at Revival. Stupid, stupid me. So I locked up the old bike hopped in a cab and hurried up there as fast as I could. Got in line around 8:30 with my friends and we waited until about 10:20 to get in.
Well worth the wait. The first DJ (I forgot his name....looking to other TA's to help me out here) absolutely rocked. His set was so energetic, the crowd was so amazingly cool and the venue was absolutely perfect. Not to mention the free drinks provided by goldclub all night. And what a sweet deal, go to the washroom, get more drink tickets. What else could you ask for. Everybody in there was having a great time and the vibe in the room was unlike anything I've ever seen before. Shout out to all the TA's there last night making me feel right at home; Time 2 Burn, Tat Girl, Blue Neon, Drgoodvibe, Stero Princess, Gamma, and all the others that I have forgotten. You guys are great.
Sasha came on around 12:20 and that was the best, and I mean BEST intro for a set that I've ever seen in my life. He got the crowd so worked up. His mixing was phenominal, and with every song, he changed the vibe. From, deep house, to progressive, to almost drum and bass, he got the crowd to boogie. I left around 2:30 after he played the classic xpander. What a note to leave on. I am so glad I went. On a side note though, I did have my bike stolen which put a damper on my night...but oh well
