Who produces other styles of e-music other than normal trance?
I would like to know if anyone here produces or wants to produce others styles too, like prog-trance and prog-house, house, techno, psy, drum and bass, downtempo, chillout, garage and so on...
Cuz i miss some tips and discussion for these other styles...

Well hey I try for trance, but usually end up with cheesy dance or techno... I really like house though, and sometimes try to go a little that direction.

i try to get a view on a lot of different styles. i started with trance, progressive techno and hardcore. but now i love to mix up different styles, like electronica, drum'n'bass, triphop, nu-jazz and stuff like this. there's a lot of space for experiments with abstract thythm patterns or basslines. and it's fun, too.

i make progressive trance, progressive house, trance, techno, house and downtempo (only started one project). trying to be versatile
you can get into and dance like a muthafucka, or you can sit back and just chill, bop in your seat etc.
and its open to so much variety in interpretation, there's no real set formula's and can be really experiemental in sound

I used to do chillout and breaks sometimes, haven't really done any in ages. I don't like to stay in just one genre, though, I like to mix everything up.
I'd like to make prog house and breaks... but I tend to make trance because I find it so much easier. Plus I have no good percussion samples atm, so making percussion-oriented music isn't such a great idea
