top notch mixing

Ive listened to Armin before, but when i heard ASOT 96 Live from Passion, i was absolutly blown away. The way he began the set....

01 Airwave - Lady Blue
02 Nalin & Kane - Beachball (Gabriel & Dresden South Beach Vacation Remix)
03 BT - Mercury & Solace (BT 12" Mastermix)
04 James Holden - Nothing (93 Returning Remix)
05 ROC Project - Never (Filterheadz Remix)
06 Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Sweeping Strings Remix)

Holly cow!!!! His transitions from song to song, were great. Really let you experience and appreciate the songs. Great job.
Anybody else blown away by this set???
EDIT: Got any other ARMIN sets i should listen to of this caliber?

Cor Fijneman - Danceroom Live 02-15-2003 !!!

Tears From The Moon mixed into Heaven Scent.

One of the most intense transitions i've ever heard. The set on a whole is wonderful.

I rarely hear lengthy smooth transistions from a live set. The best example for me would be Digweed @ SugaShack this year, i took a listen to the tape and the mixing was great.

Sasha is the smoothest mixer I've heard. If you don't believe me, listen to GU 013: Ibiza. Then listen to it again, realizing that he mixed both cd's LIVE

Sasha's liveset Live @ The Delta Heavy Tour Miami 2002 was mixed just as well.

When i saw Digweed live @ Area 2, I couldn't make out when one track ended and another began, which was definitely not the case when I heard Tiesto and Carl Cox spinning the same afternoon!

The best mixing trance DJ (That uses vinyl) is Gareth Emery. Cor Fijneman is also quite good.

his mixing is pretty tight for sure and his track seleciton is possibly the best out of all the trance dj's. Did anyone hear the PVD Mayday liveset??? what do people think of his mixing???

Yeah, Pretty sure GU013 was all done with a sequencer. Sasha still can mix great though.
