released with the movie?

i think..the melody was influenced by the theme from the movie.

otherwise, they weren't much related.

the Leama song was released like two years after the movie came out, so at best one can say that it was "inspired" by the film.

On a 6 degrees of separation note, after the official soundtrack to Requiem For a Dream was released, the studio also released a second soundtrack with remixed tunes, one of which was a Paul Oakenfold track. Leama's Requiem was released on oakie's perfecto, giving us a circuitous connection...

This song was beautiful live when Tiesto played it!

But FFS that movie sure scared me away from ever touching heroin (not that I would've in the first place )
