Party Hat check this out, oh and its my birthday

i posted this track before, but i added a more "climactic" section that i have mixed feelings about. i think its kind of text-book, with a mathematic aproach, but the few people i had listen to it say that its really good. please be brutally honest, because im split down the middle. the section im concearned about is from 3.42 - 4.37, but if you have any other comments about the song, go for it.

BTW its my birthday. "22" - yippee.

untitled

hey UJ,
this track is def better than some of the others you have posted in the past. I don't think there is much i could really comment on except maybe turning the reverb for the leads down during the break down & climax and use more delays..... I am listening to it over and over and i really like how the song keeps going with out stopping after the drum climax, I think long dramatic pauses are overated these days.... any how. Keep up the good work.... ht81

happy birthday man!

mine was june 10th (w00t, 16!).

ok, i'm not liking that kick. it is kinda hallow. Other than that i loathe you for your ability to make such unique and awesome percussion. I like the 1:52 mark. I love that sound. I actually really like the climax. Especially the lead during/after the climax. Nice work man.

Hey unclejunior!

First of all, good work. You might think about diversifying the track with more sounds in the future.

My main complaint is that the different sections of the track are not separated 'properly', which makes the sound somewhat amateurish. Right now you have different sections -- including the ones in the interval you mentioned -- follow each other without any significant drumrolls, 'whoosh' sounds, crashes, or even complete stops. If I were you I'd add major separation effects here and there, and big crashes. For that interval you mentioned, I'd add a big drum-roll buildup, gradually intensifying, so that people get the pattern and know where it ends (right now it's a bit confusing).
