what up everyone . . . I wanted to post because its obvious that most of you are knowledgable and I need some input. I'm new to this whole spinning deal, and am very interested in getting started the right way. right now I have some tables lined up, Gemini XL-500 Series 2's . . . I've heard these are decent, I know theyre direct-drive and of good quality. The mixer, on the other hand, is driving me insane. What features do I require to spin trance/techno? 3-Channels? more? less? I know I need some sort of EQ adjustments . . . I've been checking out a Gemini PS-626i. I've also been debating the Numark kit, with the direct-drive tables. Can any of you help me out with this? everyone has to start somewhere . . . also, if anyone has any sort of vinyl/mixer/tables to get rid of, please tell me.

that gemini mixer is more than enough if you're just starting out
i recommend though that you get tech 12s instead of those gemini decks
you'll easily outgrow them and you'll want to upgrade within 6 months
