well, last night i heard erick morillo at Fluid in Philly and i hear this beat jump in that is familiar. i realize i recgonize it from the g&d essential mix .. the track being "acid elliot" (missy work it mix). well, the missy part never came on. at first i thought .. hmm, is this a Dub? did this track actually get a release? well, a little inquistion later, i found out that the track erick was playing was Tyree Cooper - Video Crash. i'm guessing the g&d was just a live mix (ala the Coldplay clocks I gotta thank mix), but man did it sound fucking perfect together. those guys know how to pick em.
anyway, anyone got an idea where to find this track on vinyl or even mp3? its from 1987 according to discogs and i cant find either anywhere...

woah... nickmahoney, same thing here, Erick Morillo spun here on the
13th, and he threw in that beat, i screamed 'ACID ELLIOT??!!' and was
sort of waiting for the vocals, they never came in, (which in part i
sorta liked better) great tune...

G&D Essential Mix owned... hehehe
you think morillo is dropping acid crash because of the buzz on acid elliot?
dunno man, either way, he's is pretty amazing...
who knows, maybe he heard the essential and liked
the track, somehow found acid crash, maybe looking
for a dub or something...
that would be a sight to see, G&D in the mix to open,
Erick Morillo in the mix to close... hehehe
progressive and headbanging energy, lol
