"It is completely illegal for police in Ontario to take away your pot (as it is legal now), and I plan to oppose this policy at a rally at 4.20 p.m. in Toronto, in front of police HQ, on Thursday, June 19. I'll be smoking and possessing and since the police cannot arrest me, they can't take it away from me. Well, THEY CAN TRY. Who's with me in front of Toronto Police HQ on the 19th?" - Marc Emery
is em's real first name Marc ?!

the downside is that they will still be able to write you tickets if the decrim motion passes...I wouldn't pay $100 or whatever the fine will be just to light up in a cafe.

I just got back from amsterdam, so this is great news!
I just hope they'll have an out door seating space just like the real amsterdam coffeeshops, also i hope they serve booze too.
There was nothing like sitting outside in the sun with good people good weed and a bottle of heineken, i could do that all day.

I'm pretty sure marijuana is still illegal in all parts of Canada, the common mistake everyone is making is they think decriminalization is the same thing as legalization (but it's not). Smoking up anywhere is still illegal, but if you possess small amounts of marijuana, then it will not go on your criminal record, you will just get a fine.
