Drunk Echano - Something to Remember

I think my Madonna remix thread has been dead and buried long enough for me to plug something new. So here's my latest offering - it's called 'Something to Remember', because that's what I hope it will be (who am I kidding?), and currently I can't think of any words that provide an accurate description of it so I guess I'll have to leave that up to you (no profanity please!).

Echano - Something to Remember (Lofi Original Mix)

Apologies for the bitrate but I can't help that at the moment - also the goodness of the feedback will determine whether I make an extended version or not. Thanks!

Very nice track! I only have 2 small nitpicks, i like the bassline but there's something that bothers me about it, maybe its too loud, maybe the release is too long but it almost sounds like a continuous note when on lower octaves.

The melody is quite nice, i would have preffered to hear it without that piano in the background, just the lead pluck alone! Also the first 5 bars or so the emelody are really nice, the way it ends is kind of unusual imo. Either way, a class track

I would like to remix this bad boy, if you're up to it email me a midi at [email protected].

Even at the bitrate 96 the quality is amazing and crisp.

I agree with DC- about the melody, it doesn't sound good to me now and if it were up to me I'd make changes to it.

bass is real cliche. something about this track makes me happy. track seems kinda empty. i like things at the breakdown. i like the melody, but sounds kinda flat. maybe its the low bitrate. i think its good, but it isnt spectacular. some nice stuff goin on man.

Grabbing this now. Argh, so excited!! It's a while since I've heard anything from you...

I'll listen to it over the weekend, and get back to you on it.

Thanks for the comments.

I ran the melody by a couple of people because I was unsure about it and they really liked it...but never mind, each to their own! Hopefully the sound issues are down to the bitrate rather than my duff hearing.
