nyc promoters have hardly any influence on what djs get booked in nyc. nyc promoters are just starting to get their voices heard in which what djs their promotional target audience wants. as for local djs or not yet professional djs who make their way through the nightlife barrier only do it by networking. there are a few people on these boards who are connected and other who pioneer their own party. example: suneel, victor, tek and more. now ur asking about booking at the main stream clubs such as arc/roxy/whatever might be hard. i'd consider having the djs and their friends support some of the people and show their interest, in turn will gain support and recognition by other people. and believe me, alot of us arent in it for the money...but it helps =) any questions? post them here and me or any other TA will try our best to help =)
